Plans on how to build a home made potter's / potters / pottery wheel

Monday, April 8, 2013

I have also built (they are not totally finsihed, but almost) two guitars for myself.. Each was built out of solid, scrap hard woods that I purchased CHEAP at the Rebuilding Center in Portland Oregon. There is a 6 string electric (hollow body) and a 12 String acoustic.

I bought the body of this guitar off of eBay. It had been stripped, and lightly sanded. I built a neck for it out of solid Oak Red Wood also purchased at the Rebuilding Center in Portland.

About Me

My photo
thepottersplace
I love being a pottery teacher and I am very dedicated to my studio and the students that come and go. Our mission is to give children and adults the opportunity to play in clay (or learn a craft/hobby/career). Most ceramic classes in the area are quite expensive and most of the times crowded. We offer a private setting with professional equipment at a low cost. We fill the gap for those that do not want to commit to an expensive, time consuming class. We also believe that clay holds a very therapeutic value, both emotionally and physically. This is why we work with the Juvenile Assistance Corp. in teaching children a creative outlet. Our studio provides a safe learning enviornment where they can be themselves, grow and learn to express themselves in a healthy creative way. If you know of a child or non-profit organization that could benefit from these classes living here in the area, please feel free to contact us.
